About Us

The TOGÜ Center for Islamic Studies and Research (TİSAMER) has been established within our university. The main objectives of the center, established to provide opportunities for the scientific and academic development of our university students by organizing classes, courses, seminars, and scientific activities, and to train more qualified, competent, and equipped graduates than our university's Faculty of Islamic Sciences, include contributing to the production of knowledge and scientific activity at our university and providing opportunities for researchers to conduct research in the field of religious sciences.

TİSAMER started its first activities on November 1, 2021, with the Academic Support Workshops/Basic Islamic Sciences Readings Program covering Arabic, Tafsir (Quranic exegesis), Hadith, Kalam (Islamic theology), and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) sciences. Professor Doctor Muammer Bayraktutar served as the Director of TİSAMER, with Associate Professor Ahmet Özdemir and Associate Professor Serdar Murat Gürses serving as Deputy Directors.
